Versatile Hybrid Lighting for Demanding Environments

The PCWork PCW12H hybrid LED torch is engineered to provide dependable, adaptable illumination whenever precision and reliability are essential. At its core is a high-performance CREE XML-U3 LED delivering an impressive light output of up to 650 lumens. Whether navigating outdoor trails in total darkness, handling maintenance duties in industrial environments, or conducting detailed workshop inspections, the PCW12H provides crystal-clear visibility tailored to your immediate needs.

Dual Power Capability: Rechargeable Convenience Meets AAA Flexibility

Never get caught without light again. The innovative hybrid power design allows you to run the torch using the included 18650 lithium-ion battery (2000 mAh) or standard triple-A (AAA) batteries via the supplied adapter. Recharging is effortless thanks to an integrated USB-C port, safely housed beneath a precision-threaded aluminium cap that keeps moisture, dirt, and debris away. If a power outlet is out of reach during an extended outdoor trek or power cut, simply switch to common AAA alkaline batteries for instant operation.

Adjustable Optical Focus and Multiple Lighting Modes

Featuring an advanced optical lens system, the PCW12H offers a smooth 4x zoom capability. With a simple push or pull of the flashlight head, you can transition instantly from a broad, uniform floodlight—ideal for illuminating wide work areas or campsites—to a sharp, concentrated spotlight capable of picking out distant objects. Multiple brightness steps and light modes let you balance peak output and endurance, yielding between 2.5 and 10 hours of dependable continuous run time.

Rugged Construction, Ergonomics and Certified Safety

Constructed from robust, hard-wearing aluminium, this compact torch withstands rough handling, daily drops, and harsh workshop environments. Rated to IPX4 standards, it resists splashing water and rain from any angle. Despite its heavy-duty build, the torch weighs only 279 grams (including battery) and features an ergonomic contour that rests securely in the hand. Developed by German brand PCWork, this product is manufactured to rigorous standards, offering guaranteed safety and full CE conformity with all relevant European Union directives.

Safety Instructions

⚠️ Safety and Warning Instructions for Flashlights, Work Lights, Headlamps, and Camping Lanterns

Before using our lighting products (such as high-performance flashlights, workshop and inspection lights, headlamps, and camping lanterns), please be sure to observe the following warnings:

Visual Hazards & Glare (Eye Protection)

  • Glare hazard: Modern LED lamps have extremely high luminosity. Never look directly into the beam of light and do not direct it at the eyes of people or animals.
  • Traffic Safety: Never shine a blinding light into traffic or at moving vehicles, as this can cause temporary blindness and serious accidents.
  • Stroboscopic effect: Using the strobe function (rapid flashing) may trigger epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals. Use with extreme caution!

Heat Generation & Fire Hazard

  • Burn Hazard: High-performance lamps generate enormous heat at the lamp head and lens during operation (especially at the highest brightness levels). Avoid prolonged skin contact with these areas.
  • Fire hazard due to covering: Always turn off the lamp before setting it down or stowing it in a bag. A covered, switched-on lamp traps heat, which can cause materials to melt or lead to fires.
  • Transport safety: When transporting in backpacks or suitcases, always use the mechanical lock-out (e.g., slightly unscrewing the end cap) or the electronic button lock to prevent accidental activation.

Battery & Rechargeable Battery Safety (Especially Lithium-Ion)

  • Fire and Explosion Hazard: For devices with lithium batteries (e.g., 18650, 21700), use only undamaged, high-quality brand-name cells. Rechargeable batteries with damaged insulation (heat-shrink tubing) or deformations must not be used anymore and may explode if short-circuited.
  • Charging: Charge rechargeable batteries only with the chargers and cables provided or explicitly approved for this purpose. Never leave lithium-ion batteries unattended while charging, and charge them on a fire-resistant surface.
  • Polarity & Mixed Use: Always ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries. Never mix old batteries with new ones or cells from different manufacturers and with different capacities.
  • Risk of Leakage: Remove alkaline batteries from the lamp if it will not be used for an extended period of time to prevent damage from leaking battery acid.

Mechanical Hazards, Environmental Conditions & Handling

  • Strong magnets: Many workshop lamps and angled flashlights have strong neodymium magnets in the base. Keep these away from pacemakers, medical implants, magnetic data storage devices, and sensitive electronics.
  • Strangulation hazard: When using headlamps, there is a risk of the headband getting caught (e.g., on branches or rotating machine parts). Special caution is required when used by children.
  • Water resistance (IP ratings): Observe the specified protection class. Lights rated for splash resistance (e.g., IPX4) must not be submerged in water. Before any contact with water, always check that the charging ports and sealing rings (O-rings) are intact and tightly sealed.
  • Children: Flashlights, especially those with small parts that could be swallowed or high-performance batteries, are not toys and must be kept out of the reach of small children.
