Professional Illumination for Workshops and Precision Tasks

Working in cramped engine bays, under vehicle chassis, or in dark utility cupboards requires dependable lighting that leaves your hands free. The PCWork PCW12L Slim LED Work Light has been engineered to meet the demanding requirements of automotive technicians, field engineers, and DIY enthusiasts across Europe. Offering up to 500 lumens of clean, flicker-free light, this inspection torch combines powerful floodlight coverage with a focused spotlight beam. The smooth, stepless dimming mechanism allows you to dial in the exact level of brightness needed—eliminating harsh glare from reflective metal surfaces while conserving battery power.

Engineered for Demanding Environments

The PCW12L features an ultra-slim, ergonomic profile that slips effortlessly into narrow gaps where bulky torches cannot fit. Thanks to its rotating, adjustable head, you can angle the light precisely onto your work area. Three integrated high-strength magnets anchor the light firmly to any ferrous surface—car bodies, toolboxes, or structural beams—while the built-in metal hook provides instant hanging options when magnetic surfaces are unavailable. Built to endure daily workshop use, its durable housing provides a reliable grip even when handled with oily or gloved hands.

Extended Dual-Battery Runtime and Protected USB-C Charging

Unlike standard inspection lamps with fixed, single cells, the PCW12L is powered by two replaceable rechargeable batteries, delivering doubled capacity for extended shifts. Depending on the selected light intensity, you get between 2.5 and 6 hours of continuous illumination. An intelligent warning indicator alerts you well before power runs low, preventing unexpected downtime. Recharging is straightforward via the modern USB-C charging port, which sits safely protected beneath a protective seal cap against dust, workshop grime, and moisture.

Guaranteed Safety and EU Compliance

Quality and user safety are at the core of the German brand PCWork. The PCW12L inspection lamp is rigorously manufactured in accordance with strict European safety standards and holds full CE conformity. You can rely on secure electrical protection, stable charging circuitry, and thoroughly tested battery management designed for long-lasting workshop dependability.

Safety Instructions

⚠️ Safety and Warning Instructions for Flashlights, Work Lights, Headlamps, and Camping Lanterns

Before using our lighting products (such as high-performance flashlights, workshop and inspection lights, headlamps, and camping lanterns), please be sure to observe the following warnings:

Visual Hazards & Glare (Eye Protection)

  • Glare hazard: Modern LED lamps have extremely high luminosity. Never look directly into the beam of light and do not direct it at the eyes of people or animals.
  • Traffic Safety: Never shine a blinding light into traffic or at moving vehicles, as this can cause temporary blindness and serious accidents.
  • Stroboscopic effect: Using the strobe function (rapid flashing) may trigger epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals. Use with extreme caution!

Heat Generation & Fire Hazard

  • Burn Hazard: High-performance lamps generate enormous heat at the lamp head and lens during operation (especially at the highest brightness levels). Avoid prolonged skin contact with these areas.
  • Fire hazard due to covering: Always turn off the lamp before setting it down or stowing it in a bag. A covered, switched-on lamp traps heat, which can cause materials to melt or lead to fires.
  • Transport safety: When transporting in backpacks or suitcases, always use the mechanical lock-out (e.g., slightly unscrewing the end cap) or the electronic button lock to prevent accidental activation.

Battery & Rechargeable Battery Safety (Especially Lithium-Ion)

  • Fire and Explosion Hazard: For devices with lithium batteries (e.g., 18650, 21700), use only undamaged, high-quality brand-name cells. Rechargeable batteries with damaged insulation (heat-shrink tubing) or deformations must not be used anymore and may explode if short-circuited.
  • Charging: Charge rechargeable batteries only with the chargers and cables provided or explicitly approved for this purpose. Never leave lithium-ion batteries unattended while charging, and charge them on a fire-resistant surface.
  • Polarity & Mixed Use: Always ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries. Never mix old batteries with new ones or cells from different manufacturers and with different capacities.
  • Risk of Leakage: Remove alkaline batteries from the lamp if it will not be used for an extended period of time to prevent damage from leaking battery acid.

Mechanical Hazards, Environmental Conditions & Handling

  • Strong magnets: Many workshop lamps and angled flashlights have strong neodymium magnets in the base. Keep these away from pacemakers, medical implants, magnetic data storage devices, and sensitive electronics.
  • Strangulation hazard: When using headlamps, there is a risk of the headband getting caught (e.g., on branches or rotating machine parts). Special caution is required when used by children.
  • Water resistance (IP ratings): Observe the specified protection class. Lights rated for splash resistance (e.g., IPX4) must not be submerged in water. Before any contact with water, always check that the charging ports and sealing rings (O-rings) are intact and tightly sealed.
  • Children: Flashlights, especially those with small parts that could be swallowed or high-performance batteries, are not toys and must be kept out of the reach of small children.
