Reliable Illumination for Trade, Workshop, and Everyday Demands
Whether navigating an unlit engine bay, inspecting electrical cabinets, or managing late-night emergencies, reliable lighting is indispensable. The PCWork PCW12M professional LED torch combines high luminous performance with rugged engineering designed specifically for demanding professional environments and everyday outdoor utility.
Equipped with a high-efficiency 20 W LED, the torch delivers up to 1000 lumens in High mode, turning the darkest environments into well-lit work areas. When extreme output is not required, easily step down to Middle (550 lm) or Low (285 lm) to conserve energy and eliminate glare on close-up tasks. An integrated Strobe mode provides high visibility signaling for emergency scenarios.
Precision Optical Focus with 4x Rotary Zoom
Adapting your lighting profile is seamless. By simply rotating the torch head, you can adjust the beam from a wide, uniform floodlight to a sharply focused spotlight. Use wide flood illumination to see entire workspaces, paths, or engine compartments evenly, or focus the beam onto distant points during rescue or outdoor tracking. When retracted in flood mode, the torch head mechanically covers the protected USB-C port, providing dual-layer defense against dirt and moisture.
Modern USB-C Recharging and Removable 18650 Battery
Forget dedicated proprietary chargers. The PCW12M charges straight through its built-in USB-C port using any standard power bank, mains adapter, or in-vehicle charger. The dual-colour LED charging indicator reliably signals active charging (red) and complete charging (green), as well as blinking red when battery levels run low. Unlike sealed consumer units, the included 3000 mAh 18650 lithium-ion cell can be easily accessed and swapped via the screw-off tail cap, allowing you to carry spare cells on extended shifts.
Tested Safety and European Quality Standards
Engineered under strict German brand management, the PCW12M meets stringent European directives and is fully CE compliant. Its aircraft-grade aluminium alloy housing ensures high impact resistance and dependable heat dissipation, while IPX6 water resistance guards all critical electronics against heavy driving rain, high-pressure spray, and gritty workshop dust. Deep knurling along the handle provides an ergonomic, slip-free grip even when operating with wet hands or heavy work gloves.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the mode memory function work?
The tail switch cycles through High, Middle, Low, and Strobe. If the flashlight remains in any selected mode for longer than 10 seconds, the next click switches the light off immediately. When turned back on, the torch resumes operating directly in the previously chosen mode.
Can the rechargeable battery be replaced?
Yes. The PCW12M is powered by a standard 18650 lithium-ion battery (3000 mAh included). You can unscrew the tail cap to replace the cell at any time, allowing seamless work continuity without waiting for recharging.
Is the flashlight safe to use in heavy rain?
Yes. The torch is rated IPX6, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets and heavy rain. Additionally, the USB-C charging port is sealed beneath a durable rubber cover and further sheltered by the torch head when set to floodlight position. It is not designed for diving or underwater submersion.
How do I know when the battery needs recharging?
The status LED located beside the USB-C port blinks red when the battery charge drops low. During charging, the indicator glows steady red and switches to solid green once the 3000 mAh cell is fully charged.

Safety Instructions
⚠️ Safety and Warning Instructions for Flashlights, Work Lights, Headlamps, and Camping Lanterns
Before using our lighting products (such as high-performance flashlights, workshop and inspection lights, headlamps, and camping lanterns), please be sure to observe the following warnings:
Visual Hazards & Glare (Eye Protection)
- Glare hazard: Modern LED lamps have extremely high luminosity. Never look directly into the beam of light and do not direct it at the eyes of people or animals.
- Traffic Safety: Never shine a blinding light into traffic or at moving vehicles, as this can cause temporary blindness and serious accidents.
- Stroboscopic effect: Using the strobe function (rapid flashing) may trigger epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals. Use with extreme caution!
Heat Generation & Fire Hazard
- Burn Hazard: High-performance lamps generate enormous heat at the lamp head and lens during operation (especially at the highest brightness levels). Avoid prolonged skin contact with these areas.
- Fire hazard due to covering: Always turn off the lamp before setting it down or stowing it in a bag. A covered, switched-on lamp traps heat, which can cause materials to melt or lead to fires.
- Transport safety: When transporting in backpacks or suitcases, always use the mechanical lock-out (e.g., slightly unscrewing the end cap) or the electronic button lock to prevent accidental activation.
Battery & Rechargeable Battery Safety (Especially Lithium-Ion)
- Fire and Explosion Hazard: For devices with lithium batteries (e.g., 18650, 21700), use only undamaged, high-quality brand-name cells. Rechargeable batteries with damaged insulation (heat-shrink tubing) or deformations must not be used anymore and may explode if short-circuited.
- Charging: Charge rechargeable batteries only with the chargers and cables provided or explicitly approved for this purpose. Never leave lithium-ion batteries unattended while charging, and charge them on a fire-resistant surface.
- Polarity & Mixed Use: Always ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries. Never mix old batteries with new ones or cells from different manufacturers and with different capacities.
- Risk of Leakage: Remove alkaline batteries from the lamp if it will not be used for an extended period of time to prevent damage from leaking battery acid.
Mechanical Hazards, Environmental Conditions & Handling
- Strong magnets: Many workshop lamps and angled flashlights have strong neodymium magnets in the base. Keep these away from pacemakers, medical implants, magnetic data storage devices, and sensitive electronics.
- Strangulation hazard: When using headlamps, there is a risk of the headband getting caught (e.g., on branches or rotating machine parts). Special caution is required when used by children.
- Water resistance (IP ratings): Observe the specified protection class. Lights rated for splash resistance (e.g., IPX4) must not be submerged in water. Before any contact with water, always check that the charging ports and sealing rings (O-rings) are intact and tightly sealed.
- Children: Flashlights, especially those with small parts that could be swallowed or high-performance batteries, are not toys and must be kept out of the reach of small children.
