UT161E 1000V Digital Multimeter True RMS Description

The UT161E 1000V True RMS Digital Multimeter is the top-of-the-line model from the professional UT161 series. It is a perfect tool for measuring AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacity, and duty cycle. The multimeter is equipped with a backlit 22000 count display with an analog bargraph indication (exceptional in this price range!), which provides highly precise measurement read-outs, even in dark work environments. It has an auto range function, which chooses automatically the correct measurement range for the chosen measurement function. However, the user can also manually select the desired measurement range. Additionally, it features a diode and continuity test function, voltage detection without direct contact (NCV), ACV+DCV function, transistor hFE test function, data hold function with max/min/relative modes, and input protection. Aditionally, the multimeter has a LoZ function to eliminate "ghost" voltage, which significantly increases measurement precision. For further analysis of the measurement data, the UT161E is equipped with an USB communication port (USB cable is included), which can transfer the data onto your computer. Through the included software, the user can remote control the multimeter, archive and .XLS export the measured values with ease.
